The University of Delaware will increase tuition by 5.5 percent for the 2006-07 school year because of an increase in energy costs, employee health insurance and salary increases, officials said Monday. Effective this fall, annual tuition for full-time UD undergraduate and graduate students will increase by $366 for residents and $920 for nonresidents. Annual rates will be $6,980 for Delawareans and $17,690 for nonresident students. ... |

AMSTERDAM (AFX) - ING Group NV said it signed one memorandum of understanding with one group of suppliers, consisting of Royal KPN NV, Getronics NV, Accenture and Atos Origin, to outsource workplace services of ING's banking and insurance operations in the Netherlands and Belgium. ING will pay out about 800 mln eur over the five-year contract for the outsourcing services. It expects the contract to be signed at the end of this year. ... |

RALEIGH | House and Senate leaders agreed Friday on one budget for the coming year that cuts both sales and income taxes and gives state employees large raises but leaves out one minimum wage increase and one landfill moratorium.
